Contracted to provide Counter Terrorism Training for US Special Forces units in their preparation for deployment to Afghanistan and Pakistan. Training included all aspects of terrorist tactics, methods and techniques, with emphasis placed on their ability to seek out and limit the terrorists’ ability to operate in various environments.
Assisted government agency in the US in compiling a Training Program to protect the civilian community against a terrorist incident. LBi provided Subject Matter Expertise in the preparation of training materials for mitigating the effects of Chemical, Biological and Radiological (CBR) substances being released at public events or targeting the civilian population. This training is primarily designed for protection against terrorist devices, complimenting existing programs for other disaster related mitigation.
Contracted Subject Matter Expertise to the US Government to produce a training video to counter Vehicle Borne Devices for the various government agencies nationwide. LBi was tasked by the Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) in Washington DC to produce a training video on vehicle inspection for both the DoD and Federal Law Enforcement agencies. LBi led the project on structure, content and training elements of the video, as well as providing the virtual instructor to appear on the screen.
The video’s content was developed using LBi’s extensive experiences in the UK, Mainland Europe, Middle East and Central America in countering the terrorist’s ability to use vehicle borne devices and highlighted the methodology involved in the searching of vehicles (automobiles, trucks, tankers, etc) capable of delivering explosive devices or Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).

Assisted the Panamanian organisation responsible for the canal in assessing its vulnerabilities and threats posed against its maritime clients.
Training and advice to Mexico’s Specialist Forces personnel in the military and police on effective measures to counter insurgent groups and organised crime syndicates operating throughout the country.
Contracted to undertake a security assessment and then establish and implement the Port Security Plan for a high profile natural gas distribution terminal and provide training for port security personnel and its staff.
