If LBi’s Executive Security Escort Services are deemed more than that which is required, then LBi offers an Executive Driving Service (encompassing an Executive Protection element, if appropriate) for personnel operating on short term projects in the Middle East and elsewhere. 

The use of such a service, while more costly than using bus services or taxis, will provide a much greater level of employee “comfort” and flexibility, add to the security precautions in place and provide close protection support in the event of an incident.

Defensive and Offensive Driver Training

Private vehicles can always be obtained locally, either through direct purchase, by lease contract or on a daily rental basis.  This provides the most flexible transport arrangements for visiting or longer term contracted employees, but also the least secure and safe method of travel.

The use of private cars necessitates the need to refuel the vehicles and provides unnecessary exposure at the limited number of petrol stations available between locations.  It is worthy of note that some recent attacks against expatriate personnel in Saudi Arabia, for example, have been against individuals travelling alone in private vehicles.

While not a recommended option, clients may rent or lease vehicles and LBi will provide defensive and offensive driver training to maximise the potential for successful survival in the event of a hostile act.
